Dr Ayesha Patel is the Principal Dentist at Dentist by the Green. She qualified at the University of Bristol in 2013 where she was awarded the Dental Alumni Clinical Research Prize for her elective study, along with her undergraduate degree.
Since then, she has continued to develop her skills and her expert knowledge, with experience spanning dental practices across the UK, a year as a senior house officer (SHO) for the Oral and Maxillofacial department, as well as gaining knowledge in head and neck trauma and cancer. Having honed her skills in oral surgery and dental extractions, she obtained a postgraduate MFDS certificate with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is currently undertaking a diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry to ensure she can provide an all rounded service to her patients.
However, as her passion for continuous learning remains, she has taken a large interest in holistic patient care and how the oral cavity and airway play an enormous role in our day to day function. She is currently pursuing a pgCert in Dental Sleep Medicine to help patients with sleep apnoea and snoring, and working with like minded physicians to help prevent these issues developing in children.
